Anatolian Grill - COBURG NORTH

In my 20+ years of enjoying Turkish cuisine at various restaurants and eateries throughout Melbourne, this has become my favorite spot. The reason is straightforward: the lamb sit-down meal here is incredibly close to perfection, and it might just be the best you'll find anywhere in Australia. The Turkish bread is amazing—actually, it's the best I've ever had! Along with delicious dips and an ultra-fresh salad, the lamb is extremely lean, free of those annoying fatty bits. What's not to love? A large meal will set you back $20, but even the average person would find it challenging to finish. I have no hesitation in naming Anatolian Grill as my favorite Turkish restaurant by a significant margin.

If you're looking for the best Turkish food in the area, this is the place to go! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious!

I took my wife and our little one out on Tuesday night and walked in just as they were getting ready to close. We were worried we might not be able to eat, but when I asked the lady if they were still serving, to our surprise, she said yes! We ordered the large chicken HSP with cheese and an extra can of Coke for $24, which fed all three of us, with some leftover for the dog. It was amazing! Great job, everyone! The food and service were fantastic!
