Hudson's Seafood House On The Docks

The food at this seaside restaurant is always fresh and delicious. Our server, Sheila, was fantastic.

This is my favorite seafood restaurant in Hilton Head. The views and decks are absolutely gorgeous, and the food is the best on the island. I especially love the oysters, fresh shrimp, and fish. The service is consistently excellent. Whenever I visit Hilton Head, this is my top choice.

Extremely fresh seafood and fish. Directly from the boat to their kitchen to your table. Incredible atmosphere and location. Right on the bay. The outside bar and seating area is directly on the water. If you're visiting Hilton Head it's a must go.

The seafood was fresh and delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired! Our waiter seemed completely disconnected from his customers. He rushed through a rehearsed spiel about the daily specials without making eye contact or taking the time to answer our questions. Mistakes were frequent, including attempts to serve us food meant for another table. When we ordered a whole fish, there was no guidance on how to properly eat it. It took him 15 minutes to bring us a plate for the bones, and when he finally did, it was a tiny bread-and-butter plate that was far too small for a fish that was a foot and a half long! As the evening progressed, the waiter became increasingly unfriendly, which was disappointing since we were celebrating our anniversary and had hoped for a more enjoyable experience. If the food hadn’t been so good, I would have rated this much lower.
