Hooks Pub Grill - Clinton

So far I have been here twice, and the beer, atmosphere, food and service is great. It is straight bar food, but it's good and good portions. It's a cool, dark, chill bar.

Then, she was telling one of the other bartenders, who was sitting at the bar, about our situation. The other bartender chimed in, laughing and saying, "It's the guys at the table," making snide remarks about us being upset, and they seemed proud of it. We paid for our drinks, but after that, they didn’t even check on our food. The dark-haired bartender who took our order seemed uninvolved, but we couldn’t find her. I believe my friends, who lost money on this experience, deserve some drink chips as compensation. Additionally, the air conditioning was either not on or not working properly. I won’t come back if that blonde bartender or the one who sat with her is there again.

I came for the $5 cheeseburger basket was not disappointed! The food is usually pretty solid at Hooks. The bartender was friendly the atmosphere was chill as always. My burger was delicious. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I tried the Golden Road Mango Cart really enjoyed it!

Nice beer garden area. Friendly staff and nice selection of local brewery beers. Had a menu but we didn't purchase food.

The menu is quite hard to read, and there’s a sense of pressure to place your order quickly. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price. I’d give it a 0 out of 10.
