Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant

Submitted and ordered lunch. the restaurant had customers dinning, in which was nice to see in these current times, was clean, food melting great and the staff was friendly and seems organized. we ordered take-away and were really disappointed at what we unpacked. sweet and sour chicken consisted with shattered chicken pieces in a container and the smallest pot (approximately one tablespoon) of sweet and acidic sauce, enough to cover about two pieces, no pineapple, quite the meal consisted of dry shredded on it itself without soaking and was oily. the special fried rice, what they expect and was ok, but not remarkable, but acceptable the prawn toast was ok, as above the san chow was bow salty, tasteless and tender on the salat leaves. all in all a waste of the Chinese takeaway in wellington point better price-performance ratio.

New owner went out of her way to supply hot food if menulog fails, would recommend this place with the new owners

We went here for the first time in a few years to check the new peculiarities. we were not disappointed. a friendly reception, a clean place menu has a good choice and they were very courteous with a special request. Eat was good,...may recommend it in any case.

Our reservation was for people and we ordered the banquet. the young waitress then left after us ordered and completely forget to withdraw the contract for the rest. after minutes of waiting and then. she prepared drinks for another table, I approached her and asked when she came back for the rest of the commands, she appeared completely flummox. After we had all finally ordered, it took a few minutes until the food appears in different intervals – mealtimes with accompanying come later. To be fair, eating when we got it was delicious and plentiful. Perhaps taking would be a better option, but I'm sorry, we won't return.

I booked a table for people and they gave us seperate tables, told us they couldnt join tables together for us. Strange. The night got gradually worse, some people received their mains before entrees, rice received after meal, some people received their...meals cold. Totally unorganised and the woman (obviously the owner) was very rude and abrupt not only to the customers but also the staff. People on another table walked out as they waited for over hours and never received their mains. In regard to the food I eventually received and ate I wouldn't recommend eating there again. Very disappointing.
