Yellowtail Robata Grill Sushi

The Summertime roll was so delicious that we couldn't help but devour most of it before snapping a photo. We also tried the salmon sushi and Toro. The salmon was outstanding, while the Toro was enjoyable, although it had a surprising flavor twist. The service at the bar was quick and friendly. This is a fantastic stop if you're on a road trip. Plus, it was Sake Tuesday, with large Sake for only $2—a fantastic deal!

New to Clarksville (from Nashville) and happy to find Yellowtail! We visited about 8pm on a Saturday, so it was obviously busy, but the sushi bar was wide open. We sat immediately and were treated to very friendly cheerful service. High quality food,enjoyable atmosphere, reasonable/suitable prices for the quality means we'll be repeat customers here.

The service was fast and the food was delicious. We started with vegetable tempura and jalapeño bombs, followed by a California roll, a fried California roll, a Tokyo roll, and a dynamite roll. Each of us enjoyed a bowl of fried rice alongside our rolls. The pickled ginger and wasabi were incredibly fresh. If you're a sushi lover, be sure to add this place to your must-try list!

**The Good:** We arrived early on a Friday evening, which turned out to be a smart move. The restaurant has plenty of seating, but it filled up quickly. By the time we left 55 minutes later, there were patrons waiting for tables. Our server asked if we had visited before, and upon learning that we hadn’t, she took the time to explain the menu. She was attentive, and our food arrived promptly. We began with vegetable tempura, which was light, crispy, and delicious. I could have easily made a meal out of it and been very satisfied. For dinner, we ordered a California Roll, a fried California Roll, a Philadelphia Roll, and a Crunchy Roll, which was just the right amount for both of us. The food was fantastic, just like the appetizer. **The Bad:** While our server was attentive, she came across as a bit pushy, almost as if she was trying to upsell us on everything. She initially asked if we wanted anything from the bar or appetizers, which is understandable. However, when we ordered our four sushi rolls, she seemed surprised that we didn't want to add more items from the dinner menu. **The Ugly:** The pushiness escalated toward the end of our meal. When we first sat down and ordered drinks, my wife chose something from the bar, while I ordered a soda, stating that I was driving and wouldn’t be drinking alcohol. Throughout the meal, the server continued to bring me refills. As we considered dessert at the end of our meal, my wife ordered a second drink from the bar. When her drink arrived, the server asked if we were interested in dessert and then inquired if I wanted something from the bar. We were both too full from the sushi to contemplate dessert, and I declined any additional drinks. It felt like she really wanted to convince me to order more.

Over rated, over priced, and over cooked! I gave it 3 stars because the calamari was delicious! The side salad with the dressing was nasty. The side soup that comes with the entrée is chicken broth. No other choices for the diners that are vegetarian! Theshrimp were over-cooked and the fried rice was tasteless!
