Red Lobster - Clarksville

It's been years since the tables with adjustable sides were cleaned; crumbs from previous guests filled the gaps. On a positive note, the Cheddar Biscuits were excellent. I ordered Walter's favorite dish along with a 7oz Sirloin with a baked potato and bacon mac and cheese. Unfortunately, the steak was disappointing for the price—I couldn't even finish it. I realize now that going to a seafood restaurant for steak might not have been the best choice. The shrimp was decent, and the mac and cheese and potatoes were good, but not memorable enough to write home about. The kids enjoyed their meals, especially the popcorn shrimp and mac and cheese. I'm not sure if I'll return.

I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of shrimp I received. The portion was quite large and more than I could finish. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more salt for flavor. My husband had the flounder sandwich, which contained more than just a piece of fish, but he would have liked to see more coleslaw on it. Our server, Cassie, was cheerful and attentive throughout our meal. We’ll definitely request to sit in her section next time!

Awful experience. I would recommend avoiding this place. We waited 20 minutes before the waitress even noticed us, and it was clear she lacked proper training. She forgot half of our order, and some items were never served. The restaurant itself was dirty, and my food came with hair in it. I used to enjoy dining here, but it’s definitely going downhill quickly. Save your money!

That would normally have been 5 stars. But the appetizers came out of the way, then the food came out when we had only the appetizers for 1 min., the food was cold and the lobster tails were boiled over when we finally got the waitress, they made my friend feel that he ate much of it to get another when it was still in the bowl, my potatoes had bowls from the lobster sauce. As if the food comes cold and all the failures then add a waitress that came only on the odder and do not check a refill of tea. Not even our glasses were touched by our waitress, but another waitress got us tea. The other workers were very nice.

The blackened trout was very good and a nice portion size. Chicken portion was huge too. The Cole slaw was not good; neither I nor my wife liked it. The shrimp were good as usual. We did carry out. The food was hot and on time. Only took off one star for the Cole slaw.
