Pizza On The Run - City of New York

Wasn't thrilled when I walked in. Dark, tables still packed away. The pre-made fried chicken but when heated and put with bread cheese and sauce and heated again. It was delishish. Turn some lights on please. Lol

This is Hood Pizza. It has a generous amount of cheese and sauce, along with a thick crust. In this neighborhood, the only seasoning they seem to prioritize is salt—there’s no hint of Italian or Spanish spices, or any discernible flavor profile for that matter. Consequently, while a slice will certainly fill your stomach, it doesn’t offer much in terms of taste. I would give it a score of 75 out of 100.

The pizza is excellent, but the price you're paying is quite high.

This place holds a lot of nostalgia for me, as I grew up just a few blocks away in the early 2000s. The pizza was just as I remembered—thin crust, plenty of cheese, and the perfect amount of sauce. Thank you for keeping your doors open and helping to keep Coney Island alive. God bless!

Make sure you type in address for they have 2 locations. Customer service was great, place seemed clean, Pizza was hot and ready, even with me being a block at the other location
