Gruppo Nycthincrust Pizza East Village

Came here on recommendation by Rock tour guide. Lovely food, best pizza and desert. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit.

What an absolute gem! Came across this place on our first night in NYC and we couldn't have asked for a better first meal. Fabulous service, really friendly and most important of all, amazing pizzas, hands down the best thin crust pizzas we've ever had! I recommend this to anyone visiting New York. It's worth the trip to East Village if you're not staying in the neighbourhood.

I lived just a couple blocks away from Gruppo for several years before moving to Portland, OR. I can honestly say it is one of my most missed things. The salad with radicchio, the chixpotle pizza or mushroom pizza. Oh how I miss you. I always liked the no nonsense service too. Miss you guys!

An Instagramable restaurant. Pizzas were really thin and crispy. Ordered a large pizza with one half in pineapple and ham and the other half in salami etc. The salad was really good. Service was excellent.

This is great pizza, good sauce, amazing texture and kind service! The pizza is definitely THIN so don’t expect a lot of crust. Been going here since I was a kid and it’s still good. Nice setting and worth the price. LOVE
