Buttercup Bake Shop - City of New York

Ube cupcake was so yummy! The cake was moist but not too crumbly and not too sweet. The frosting was a little too sweet and I wish it had even MORE of an Uber taste! The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. No seating but I think they have a bench outside when it's warm.

We had Buttercup Bake Shop deliver a bunch of cupcakes for an office party and they were a GREAT hit! So many different flavors and the presentation was gorgeous. The taste was also a 10/10. Will be ordering from them again!

Wife and I spent the holidays in NY this past bitter cold Christmas. After shopping at Macy's Christmas Eve we walked back to our hotel on E33 st near Park Ave and stopped by this hidden jewel of a bake shop.Tge pastries cup cakes, mini cheesecakes were outstanding fantastic. In fact I went back that night for more. The gentleman running it that night was very very nice and added to the ambiance of the charming small bake shop.

Oh my gawd. The carrot cake cupcakes tasted just like my mom's carrot cake. Delicious! Hubby had the red velvet. I'm assuming it was good because he didn't share a bite. Had the lemon bar. The lemon was the perfect tartness and the crust was crumbly in the best way.

I had the most amazing experience! I had a hard time ordering online so I was able to submit my order and pay over the phone. Special mention to the confirmation email! Sweets were delicious and freshly baked when I got them. The true reason for this review is that one of the workers delivered my desserts to the restaurant where I was having my event. It was a rainy Sunday morning and they had an issue with staffing but I truly appreciate the staff going above and beyond to make sure that I had my desserts in time. They were super friendly and I appreciate their efforts!
