Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe had the Zuppa and fried calamariThe seafood was very fresh. The Zuppa with the lobster, shrimp, muscles, and clams was amazing. I would say the Zuppa is good for about three to fourMy only suggestion would be to do something about the fly problem. The flies kept coming to our food and that got annoying.
Great restaurant with amazing service. Our waiter, Nick was amazing, coming back especially for him! He made our experience top tier!Food: 5/5
I am only giving a 3 star rating because the service was good. I ordered the Seabass over crab and corn salad. The Seabass was good but it was served on top of a very cold (refrigerated) corn and Lima bean salad. The very cold salad (which has mostly Lima beans with the corn, not crab) completely ruined the dish; it should have been made room temperature at the very least before serving with a piece of hot fish. Jambalaya was just ok. Three of us ordered Manhattan clam chowder, and though there was some clam in the soup, it was not a chowder. It was a vegetable soup with a little bit of clam flavor, and a small amount of clams thrown in. We ordered the steakhouse chocolate cake for dessert and it was a commercial piece of chocolate cake, the type that you would get in a diner. In general, the fish alone was prepared well, but everything else was just ok.
This place is in city island. Table for 2 spent about $139 total. The food was okay. Rice was a little salty. Drink wasn't bad, not too strong. There is a parking space. It has and inside and outside dining. It's nice and quiet inside. It gives you a little candlelight feeling without the candles. Give meals enough to share for 2. Baked Clams were delicious. I had center pork chop. It made me left like I was getting steak. They did a great job with it.
I'm very disappointed. This place was highly recommended by a local. Unfortunately, the fried food was overcooked. The dark brown scallops, clams shrimp and fish were hard and left a bad taste in my mouth. The corn on the cob was tasty but not hot. The only saving grace was the French fries. I tried my best but couldn't eat it. The server took it back and brought me a new plate that looked good, was cooked properly but wasn't very tasty. The server apologized but the owner or manager never came to the table.. I won't be going back.
