Christina Lake Marina & Grill

Fast food, quick service, nice patio adjacent marina store. Can be overcrowded with people waiting to launch. But very friendly and accomodating.

We came in to rent a boat. All seemed way toexpensive, compared to other places.But we decided to do it. The girl at the desk had to call someone to come in and give the boat out. Nothing prepared, no gasin thetank but lots of water in the boat.Took a long time to get it ready.On the lake we had some problems with the motor. When we told it the rental boy, he did not even know, what the red lights for.Now hungry, we found the grill closed, umbrellas down on the floor., tables wet and dirty.Stay away from that place, it's a shame for Christina Lake.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to support a local business & I think the idea of food service on the water is awesome but the CL Marina is off to a slow start this season. Granted it's only day 2 of their new summer hours, and their staff are still getting accustomed to their responsibilities, but sadly I doubt I'll give this business a second try this summer. We had lunch today with our family and the food was just average. Prices were decent, service was ok, seating area was clean and supplies were available. The menu is a regular mix of easily prepared, average food -burgers, wraps, grilled cheese (no fries). What a location though for the owner to really make a splash, & with the current hype around food trucks, there's such potential here for an awesomely popular and perfectly located, successful food service operation!! I wish they too had the vision to see it & took a leap at stepping it up a few notches. Vacationers are looking for memorable experiences to come back to year after year, not bland average food with little to no ambiance or experience

We stopped here on a whim and found they had a pontoon boat for rent. We took it out on the lake (which was refreshingly warm) for a couple of hours. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the grilled chicken ceasar wrap was tasty too.

When we docked at the Marina the people working at the marina were close to being RUDE, they were lazy and unhelpful. the next time I need gas i will load my boat and haul it into town to a gas station before I buy it there. If you go into the store, the kids that are working there are more concerned about whining to each other about customers and their friend more than serving you.
