Gardener’s Grill is the restaurant Christiansburg has needed! Food is absolutely delicious and is run by the kindest people. The mountain man chicken sandwich is to die for! The new Chef Matt and Mama C are absolutely wonderful.

I will never be returning to Gardner’s I just waited 30 minutes for ice cream to not even have enough time to order my ice cream and get back to work on my lunch break I can understand waiting and be patient but it’s absolutely ridiculous to wait in a drive through line for 30 minutes!!!!! I will definitely only go to poppy’s from now on!!!

Amazing place conveniently located by the highway and the drive in. Staff is personable and friendly, food is quality and made with care, the dining area is comfortable. 10/10 will be back again for date night or an outing with the friends. This is a place where they will treat you right.

I love Gardener's!! I have been coming to ice cream shop and grill for at least 5ish years. They have a lot of varieties of ice cream to choose from. They also have around 4- 5 italian ice flavors. They also have Sundays , frozen chocolate covered banana, etc. The grill has always been good. They have burgers, cheesesteaks, grilled sandwiches, and cold sandwiches. They started having a special on Fridays, but I haven't been able to try the specials yet. The staff and owners are always kind. And when the lines get super long, the employees somehow manage to get people their ice cream quickly. Dietary restrictions: They have vegan ice cream and usually at least one sugar free ice cream flavor. My sister is lactose intolerant, so the vegan options and the frozen chocolate covered banana is her favorite.

Excellent ice cream with friendly fast service. Yum!
