Country Kitchen - Christiansburg

Used to be a great place to eatSince owner diedThey have same Ole things on buffetCatfish " which is not done" or chicken.

We have eaten here several timesEach time has been for lunch and has been the buffetWe have ordered pieces of pie addiionally from the buffet.

The food is mediocre but quite cheap so can't really complain. The restaurant is very popular with the AARP crowd.

Simply the best breakfast in the area. This is a fully equipped breakfast bar that has everything. Trays are full of good stuff. My waitress was excellent and attentive. Only the reason I took a star was the atmosphere of the worn country.

I eat a very low carb diet to keep my diabetes under control, and I was not sure how I would make it. It turned out that it was not impossible, so it was a victory. My parents love this place and we talked to a few people we knew who was there. This never happens at home in Raleigh! Oh, and the food was excellent. It was a great lunch.
