Tierra Caliente - Childersburg

The service at this place is outstanding! It's refreshing to find waitstaff here who don’t adopt that typical posture you often see in other Mexican restaurants. We work about 8 miles away, and we often joke about how the servers refill our drinks and salsa bowls before we’ve even consumed a quarter of them! As for the food, it’s excellent. My wife declared that she had the best chicken quesadilla she’s ever tasted. The staff is also very friendly. As soon as a party leaves, 2-3 employees promptly clear the table and clean it with steaming hot towels. My wife and I are quite particular about where we dine, and we were thoroughly impressed. While it’s not what I would consider cheap dining—the prices are slightly higher than other places—the portion sizes make it worthwhile.

Excellent restaurant! The atmosphere is friendly, warm, and inviting. The food is fantastic, and it's the cleanest restaurant I've ever visited. Of all the Mexican restaurants in our area, this place has the absolute BEST service. If you frequent the restaurant, they remember what you want to eat, your kids names, and the type of drinks. They interact on a personal level. Their price is a little higher but it is worth it. Feeling like you are actually wanted at the establishment goes a long way in my book.
