Old Town Grille - Childersburg

The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The music is at a nice volume, which is a definite plus.

This is truly one of my favorite local restaurants. If you go around 5 PM, you'll find the wait times can be quite long due to staff shortages since COVID. However, if you visit between 1 and 3 PM, it's fantastic and very child-friendly. All the staff are wonderful, friendly, and incredibly sweet.

I was disappointed with my lunch order of burgers and fries. The meat was overcooked on one side, so I could only eat half. A friend’s father also dined there earlier and his hamburger steak was burnt as well. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon. The staff are nice people, but they really need to focus more on ensuring that orders are properly prepared. They may also be short-staffed in the kitchen.

Burned Food... you've always been a favorite, but my cheeseburger was really burned on one side, which should have been a good meal. It was over $12 and I could only eat about half. No happy experience, sad. A friend and her family were eating there today and her father's Hamburg steak was also burned. Maybe they changed chefs. The less I gave them 3 stars for nostalgia, but will not be back soon.

Good food and service. I had the meatball sandwich and it was delicious. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and loved it. Server was friendly and took care of us. Would go back.
