Bad Alfred's Distillery - Chestertown

That was possibly the best pizza I've ever had! The crust was wonderfully soft, the cheese was fantastic, and the fresh basil added the perfect touch. I was genuinely surprised by how delicious it was. The staff was also amazing. We visited tonight during the Dickens Festival, and the place was bustling with a long line out the door, but it was definitely worth the wait. Despite being busy, the staff was incredibly helpful and maintained a cheerful attitude.

Attention! The food and the staff made the wait on a Friday night completely worthwhile. The large number of diners is a testament to how great the food is. Our group tried a variety of pizzas, along with the smoked wings and pork tacos, and everything was delicious.

I’m currently in this small town for a renovation project and was searching for a local restaurant for dinner. I discovered this place, which is only open on Thursday and Saturday evenings, and I was lucky enough to visit on a Thursday. I had one of the best wood-fired pizzas I’ve ever tasted. The husband-and-wife team that runs the restaurant is incredibly friendly and seems to know all their customers by name. While the menu is small, the overall experience was fantastic. This is definitely a great spot!

We stopped with my husband and children yesterday and loved the place, the experience, the food and the service. Alfred and his wife are fantastic hosts! We recommend this restaurant very much. Drinks are great, food is fresh and service is amazing! Thank you.

Sorry half the food is gone from the picture, this is some of the best food I've ever eaten (pizza, wings, burger). The old fashioned was absolutely the best I've ever had, 100% will be back every time we're through here. Top notch.
