Mission Bbq - Chesapeake

Mission BBQ Chesapeake has always been our go-to for our family. Our son turned 5 years old and he chose Mission BBQ for his birthday lunch. We came in with Balloons/gifts for him. We did not bring a cake because were doing that later at home. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the building. Ordered our food and as we are sitting down, we were greeted by a young woman. She interacted with our son as if it was one of her own. She played with him, told him happy birthday several times throughout the lunch. She came and checked on us often, and even refilled our drinks. She then came out with a personalized tray with his name on it along with Happy 5th Birthday, which had brownies and a cobbler just for our table. His eyes lit up! My son asked her how long has she worked there and she told him 3 days!! This service is not something you can train someone, this came from her heart. This was by far the best visit we have had, along with great food!! I wish I could remember her name I know that it started with an 'A ' and she told my son she was married to a Virginia Beach officer. We hope this review makes it to her, and how much she touched our sons life!

FANTASTIC EMPLOYEES! YOU CAN TELL THEY HAVE A HUGE HEART FOR THE MILITARY! GREAT FOOD. THE PLACE IS ALWAYS SPIC AND SPAN CLEAN. FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY ! A PLACE THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN ENJOY. THEY DELIVER SERVICE WITH A SMILE EVERY DAY. EVERY CUSTOMER IS THEIR FAVORITE! IT'S AN AWESOME FEELING TO SUPPORT A BUSINESS WHO LOVES, APPRECIATES, AND HONORS THE MILITARY! MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS THIS BUSINESS AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WHERE THEY MAKE AND TURN STRANGERS INTO FAMILY!

My sister, friend, and I shared the three-meat plate at the restaurant. We chose pork, wet brisket, and pulled chicken. We also shared some fries. The ribs were really good and the meat was delicious. The food is definitely the best I've ever had. I first tried Mission Barbecue in Annapolis, MD, and the restaurant in Chesapeake, VA was just as excellent.

This was my first time here and it was obvious from the amazing service and food! The prices were reasonable, especially considering how expensive food can be in general. Darlene was super friendly and helpful in guiding us, and Miss Robyin did a great job explaining the menu. First impressions are important, and I was impressed by their support for service members. Overall, it was a great first visit and I can't wait to go back soon! I hope they expand to Suffolk soon.

We had a great experience at this restaurant for six people. The brisket, pork, and sides were all excellent. The dishes were very well prepared and the staff was incredibly friendly. We highly recommend this place.
