Four Season's Pizzeria - Chesapeake

The food here is excellent! We live in North Carolina, but every time we visit Virginia, we come here 8 out of 10 times. We just went last weekend, and it's now called Barley's, but the food tasted exactly the same as before. So, that's great!

Their pizza is very good, but since they've reopened after their vacation, I've noticed that delivery times have gotten longer. They usually say it will take 45 minutes to an hour, but tonight I ordered two party pizzas (the same as usual) and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive. I called once to check the estimated arrival time, and they provided me with a location; however, the pizza didn't arrive until 30 minutes later. Unfortunately, it wasn't hot at all!

Updating my review: We've ordered pizza from here twice since the new owners took over, and it just isn't the same. Both times, the pizza was overcooked and tough. I'm really disappointed because this was our favorite pizza spot. While it still had decent flavor, it doesn't compare to how good it used to be. I won't be ordering again. I used to love this pizzeria and appreciate the delivery staff. We always order in, and the pizza here is far superior to chain options, reminding me of the delicious flavors from my hometown in Philly.

The salad, wings, and pizza were all very delicious. The spaghetti with Italian sausage stood out as particularly tasty! Everything was fresh and served promptly. The staff were friendly as well. My only issue was with the way my food was packaged for takeout; my salad was placed sideways in the same bag as my hot items. Despite that, I had a wonderful experience overall and would definitely return.

I ordered a large grilled chicken salad while I was at work, since I used to work at a couple of different pizzerias and wanted to save half for lunch the next day. About halfway through one half of the salad, I paused to chat with two of my therapist co-workers. Once they left for the night, I returned to my salad and noticed something strange in it. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was a bug or cricket. I have a friend who actually works in the food industry, so I know how crucial hygiene is.
