Carvel - Chesapeake

Great place to take family. Staff are friendly and courteous. Reasonably priced, good size portions and great tasting ice cream and shakes.

The traditional soft serve at this restaurant is perfect. I wish I could indulge in this delicious treat more often, but Carvel is my favorite.

We recently discovered this hidden gem tucked away in a corner that we had overlooked for some time. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and offers a large selection of delicious ice cream flavors. We visited on a Sunday morning and were the only customers there. The scoop ice creams we ordered were fantastic and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future. After reading other reviews giving high praise but only 4 stars, we were a bit confused. Since then, we have visited this place about 10 times and even ordered a cake for a birthday celebration. We give it a perfect 10/10 and will continue to be regular customers.

Carvel is my top choice for traditional soft serve ice cream. I don't have it often, but when I do, this place never disappoints. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly and eager to provide excellent service.

I recently visited THIS store to purchase a gift card and was pleased to find that they accepted my credit card without any issues and did not charge me sales tax, unlike the store in Virginia Beach. The location was clean, had a good selection of items, and the staff member assisting me with the calendar was friendly and helpful.
