Chemainus Bakery & Deli

I love this place. I often buy their "Best of Harvest" bread and their apple pies. Take the pie home. heat it up at 375 for 20 minutes, and enjoy! They also have hard-to-find Eccles bread for our Brit pals, Cornish pasties, and so much more. It's a homier (and less expensive) alternative to Utopia in uptown Chemainus. Patronize it and you won't be disappointed.

Adorable little town hidden! Just like Gilmore Girls setting :) Great place for coffee and muffin or breakfast! Lots of cute stores on Wilson st. Love the parks and waterfront views!

A simple bakery with delicious old school baking. No fancy patisserie here but good, simple treats. We enjoyed the cream stuffed long John, Nanaimo bar, and glazed donuts (not all in one sitting). The chocolate chunk cookie wasn't the best but there are plenty of other things to choose instead. Also the prices were crazy cheap. If I lived here I would go back frequently. Cute place.

We stop by this bakery regularly for bread and other treats but its also a nice place to stop for a quick light lunch or just coffee and treat. Friendly people and friendly atmosphere.

I visit this bakery on a regular basis. The baked goods are delicious including the meat pies, donuts, bread and treats. The sourdough buns are delicious and only 50 cents each. All the prices are reasonable and everything is fresh. There are about 4 tables and chairs if you want to eat in with a cup of coffee. Just a small town feel to it.
