We needed somewhere in the middle of the week in Chauvigny for a quick meal. Hoa Binh had tables free and we liked the idea of a Chinese Thai food. We often have similar meals at home and were a little disappointed by the quality of food....Samosas were cold in the middle and the lemons chicken and rice was best on average. The Chinon Red we had acceptable and not overpriced. However, I would say that the service was excellent and we would not have expected better. Overall, the restaurant was seen from a standard with Chinese restaurants at home 10 15 years ago. If you haven't eaten much Chinese Thai food, give it a try, however, as we already have your favorite Chinese restaurant may wait for you to come home.
We had a nice meal here after a trip to the fabulous market on a Saturday morning. We haven't eaten here yet, so we had to guess in the portion sizes. When we decided and ordered, we checked with the waitress about quanitity and she... said it was too much for us and our order was torn off. We both shared a DimSum starter for 2 people. We also shared the spits with a diving sauce. We shared a pork salad for 1 person who was a lot together with our individual rice companions. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, but people came to take away. For us it made a nice change from French cuisine. Great menu, good service, helpful waitress and the food was cooked in the premises.
