Sushi Kaido - Chatswood

Having lived in Tokyo for 7 years I know it is hard to find sushi that tastes like "real" Japanese sushi. You will find it here. All chefs here are Japanese trained and while it is a kaiten style sushi bar the food is high standard. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Almost everything about the "new" Sushi Kaido will be familiar to anyone who has been dining at the Chatswood branch of the Sushi Train for the past few years. There were minor changes to the decor and of course, the name change but most of the chefs and wait staff are the same.Fortunately for us, the quality of the sushi hasn't change much either. When they are good, they make some of the best sushi in Sydney. However, during the transitional period there were a few stumbles but recent visits have been positive and there are every sign that they are getting their mojo back and that is good news. I'm being cautious when I give them 4 stars with this review and I hope they will get back the extra star in the near future.

I was very well looked after, the customer service was above expectations and the Sushi was definitely the best I had tasted in years, Thankyou for doing the food type proud, it is very hard to find Real Sushi in Sydney now, some in the industry are holding true whilst others slip. You cannot fake quality and I will look forward to returning soon to Sushi Kaido

I've lived in Chatswood for 19 years now, and have eaten at every sushi place within the cbd.

We had an excellent dinner at Sushi Kaido - btw Sushi Train has been renamed to Sushi Kaido. The quality and variety of the sushi is excellent.
