They were also happy to accommodate our little ones' pram at our table.<br/ <br/ We ordered the Roti Canai, Chicken Laksa, and the Pappa Special Nasi Lemak with curry chicken and sambal prawns.<br/ <br/ The roti was lovely and crispy on the outside, but light and fluffy on the inside. The dipping curries were both delicious, as was the sambal.<br/ <br/ I had the Chicken Laksa, which was excellent; the soup was creamy and well-flavoured with the right amount of heat.<br/ <br/ My partner really enjoyed the Nasi Lemak too.<br/ <br/ With mains that good, we had to have dessert! I ordered the banana fritters with vanilla ice cream, and was pleasantly surprised to find 2 whole bananas on my plate with a good scoop of ice cream. The batter was crisp and light. A great finish to a great meal!<br/ <br/ With friendly staff, a nice atmosphere and great food, I would happily recommend this restaurant.
Pappa Rich has nailed it, offering Sydney-siders quality authentic Malaysian cuisine. The array of choice on the menu is unbelievable with ALL your favourites, from your classic Roti Canai to their Fish Head Noodle Soup! It definitely is now one of my favourite go-to places whenever I am craving some chilli!
It's almost 2pm on a weekday, and there is still a queue for table. Didn't have to wait long, less than 10 mins. Really wanted to get my fav dish the fried fish head noodle soup, but they didn't have anymore fish head, so had to settle for the fish fillet version. The noodle soup taste pretty much the same, delicious mix of subtle tangy and salty, not fishy at all. Lots of fillets, the fish was crispy on the outside, and nicely moist inside.
SATISFYING. I came in hungry like a beast! So I ordered roti telur 8.90), pappa wet tan mor noodles 13) and the naan bread doesn't matter cause tasted so bad and dry like normal bread). Yes i demolished all the dishes I ordered. Personally roti telur was quite filling and very satisfying my favourite dish). The noodles were also good but I've had better. Good experience, tho next time I think I'll just order roti here.
My visit 10th time. Good place for gathering with my family&friends. Reasonable Malaysian delicious food-Laksa, Hainan Chicken rice, Roti etc.Love to eat Kaya bread as well.I'm from Singapore and feel like I'm home while I'm here: They do free charge of cake cutting service so good for celebrating bday etc.
