Chit Chats Bistro - Chatswood

For a chinese restaurant in an RSL Club, the food here is outstanding. Was brought to the table very quickly, always a good thing with 3 young hungry children and really fresh and tasty. Pricing was reasonable as well. Will be back for sure.

Myself and friend visit this restaurant often for dinner and lunch. It represents great value in Chatswood. There is parking as part of the RSL club below and there is comfortable seating. Meals are of a reasonable standard and appropriately priced. The major downside is the variable service staff. Some just don't understand English and get it wrong.

We went there with another family after our daughters band concert after seeing the bill boards outside the RSL. The food was frshly cooked & of a high quality & not that expensiveWe had spring rolls & fish cakes for entree ( Very tasty )Salt & Pepper Squid ( a bit too salty for my taste but everyone else enjoyed them )Ribs peking style ( a bit sweet but tender )Wagu beef ( yum )Teriyaki Chicken - yumSteamed chinese broccoli with Oyster sauce - yumWe will defintely be going back to try more dishes

First visit of my family to one of the club's restaurants. The young woman at the reception of the club asked us to give her all the ID, so we gave her. One of my family members just casually asked if we really need to give so many personal details to the club, she replied, 'even if you just go to the toilet you must give the details! '....... well, there's no need to be so rude to a new visitor with a simple enquiry.

Obviously if you join there a reasonable discounts on food and beverages($2-$2.50) so may want to consider ($5.50 per year) if you intend to return or go with a local.There is a $10 meal available at the appropriate size if that is what you want.With three eating areas to choose from we went straight to Chit Chats for the main menu.The Ipoh Club area has a strongly Malaysian influence if that's your style.Shades cater more for fresher style foods and pizza.Although it is not stated on the menu there is a range of Gluten free options with the staff very informative on that subject.meals were a good size and the wait time was reasonable two of our couples shared a meal which was also no drama extra plate and cutlery supplied.
