Townsville Barra Fun Park

Our family enjoyed a great day at the Townsville Barra Fun Park. Kids loved fishing and the water obstacle course. Hubby and I enjoyed a quiet stand up paddle board. Plenty of tables available to set up for the day in the shade. Cafe on site or take your own esky.

My niece was married here last month. The grounds are beautiful (once you get past the ugly carpark). The catered food was delicious and plenty of it. Would recommend Barra Fun Park as a wedding venue.

The kids do love going there but it needs some TLC and maintenance as it's quite run down and old. I believe the cost is way too high and I think it's ridiculous that you still have to pay full price even if you're not swimming. Also the food was horrible. My son got hot chips that tasted like they were 3 days old and the pizza I got had been microwaved as the base was chewy.

Great place. So much fun. Eat or buy something. The owner goes beyond and beyond to make sure everyone is okay. We went out yesterday and the brook flooded and brought us all back to the park until it was safe to go. Top-Bloke and his staff are also fabulous.

Fantastic for a day out. $110 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children or $33 per person). The fun started at 10am and we stayed until 4pm. Thats value for money!! So much to do and a nice way to cool off and wear the kids out. So much fun for all ages. Highly recommend. I think locals should get behind this amazing business and support them. Cmon Townsville, we are lucky to have this fun park in our own backyard!
