Gold City Chinese Restaurant

We would have chosen from the buffet if it weren't for the huge blow-fly walking over the meat dishes. This can happen, so we ordered fresh-cooked food. We had BBQ combination, BBQ Pork Chop and SF Rice. Price reasonable but very bland tasting. Couldn't eat the combination which was also quite fatty.

Coming through town at night and not much open. Ordered dim sims and asked for no soy sauce (raw throat). Get to motel, open food, dim sims smothered in soy sauce. Restaurant is closed now so I guess it's bottled water for dinner. Thanks for listening to your customer...not.

Walking down Gill Street and feeling peckish and came across the noodle place. Absolutely delicious cooked fresh in front of you. Just remember it is cash only.

I grew up in Charters Towers, and visit my parents once or twice a year. I can tell you it is the best Chinese food I have had. I have been saying that for all these years. Even in China town Sydney it is not as good as the Gold City. Keep up the delicious food. Always want to eat when I am visiting

Great food. Good selection. Very tastey. They even cater for the kids with fish and chips. We had takeaway but also.looks like a nice place to sit down and eat at. Would definitely recommend
