Great scone and coffe deal $5. Generous serve and nice light scones. So good I went back at lunchtime and had an asparagus quiche which was delicious.

We walked by a couple of times and saw the signs for the book shop and also the cafe signs $5 coffee jam and cream....not expecting a lot we were pleasantly surprised,really great value, oh we did go to the book shop and purchased 2books. The ambience of the arcade is quite relaxing.

When you offer scones and tea for $5 I suspect people aren't hoping for much but oh my goodness. Now I understand why our in laws will drive from Townsville to Charters Towers for the afternoon just to have the scones!Was just lovely, the staff are friendly, efficient and professional, beautiful cool breeze flowing through the building and definitely recalling a bygone era. Looking forward to coming back!

Stopped here twice for breakfast and enjoyed it - breakfast wrap first morning and big breakfast the next. Coffee was hot and strong. Service was friendly although a little slow. Price is as expected and servings were generous. We asked for extra sauce and no drama. We sat out in the arcade and you pick your own table. Lovely old building to spend some time.
