Johnny Burrito - Charlotte

While exploring Charlotte, NC on my first day in the city, I stumbled upon this wonderful hidden gem. As the saying goes, good things often hide in nooks, and this place certainly lived up to that! The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Their catchy slogan and vibrant energy really drew me in. The burritos were larger and more refreshing than any I've had before. They also made me feel welcome as a first-time visitor! If I ever have the opportunity to return to Charlotte, this will be my first stop, and I plan to bring some friends along too.

I visited this restaurant while in Charlotte for a convention, and it was just a short walk from the convention center. Although the line appeared long, it moved quickly. A staff member came through the line, gave out “rookie” cards to first-time customers, and explained how to order, which was really helpful. Keeping up with the ordering pace felt a bit overwhelming at first, but everyone, including Johnny himself, was so friendly that I never felt too rushed. The food was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a fun and satisfying experience!

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance while exploring Charlotte, NC, as we waited for our connecting flight to Germany. We're so grateful for the delicious food that saved us from going hungry! The combination of fantastic cuisine and excellent hospitality makes Johnny Burritos one of the best burrito spots we've ever visited.

A Charlotte staple! They’ve been here forever. I’ll be honest, I am not big on burritos. These burritos are the ONLY ones that I will eat. Very flavorful and Johnny ALWAYS creates an awesome atmosphere for customers. First time customers get a free bottle-opener (don’t forget to grab one). If you’re visiting from out of town, this place is a MUST!

Delicious! This place is so unbelievably good found it while wandering around downtown Charlotte and it was a gem. The owner and staff are so friendly and the food was incredible. Don’t miss it!!!
