Schnitz - Charlestown

We treat ourselves to lunch here whilst shopping with family. Burgers, Wraps and Chips are definitely top shelf. Will definitely dine here again and again. Treat yourself you won't be disappointed!!

My mates and I chose to eat here lastnight for dinner whilst shopping at Charlestown Square! I cannot complain about the taste or quality of the food, however to pay over $20 for no more than 3 ingredients on a wrap, a little bit over a handful of chips and a drink!! This I thought was a bit pathetic! I could have got the same thing from KFC but for only half the price! I definitely won't be rushing back anytime soon! Service was great by the way.. But something needs to be done about the $$$

Buy my lunch here and I have not been disappointed. Delicious wraps and chips. It is good that we can watch them make out lunch and they use correct food handling techniques.

100% best wrap we have ever had hands down! We had the OMG! It was amazing! Perfectly cooked egg, it was a 10/10 no doubt about it! Wish there were more of these around!!! I would eat there everyday it's that good!

The title says it all really.I liken Schnitz to somewhere like a "grilled" chain for the type of food they put out and the general styling, but with the twist of everything being Schnitty based - a great idea, I mean who doesn't love a schnitty?!The food is hard to fault, fresh cooked (though you can often see a few sitting in the warmer) schnitty on a wrap or roll - it's almost the perfect lunch!I say "almost" cause there are a few shortcomings for me:-Time... It seems to take forever to get your meal after you've ordered, that wouldn't be an issue in a sit down restaurant sort of location, but in a busy food court you're left waiting with no buzzer etc, so you need to stand around waiting for upto 15 minutes to get your name called (OK it has been s quick as 6 minutes, but it's generally around 10 at lunchtime). The lack of buzzers means people are standing all over the place, there's no real way to know who has ordered and who hasn't, and the lack of pick up system, just yelling of names really feels like it contributes to that, as well as contributing to general congestion in the walkway.The second issue if price - It's quite expensive for what you get. Again, the food is great, but there are other similar quality outlets in the foodcourt for well less.I really enjoy the food on offer, but the pain in the butt of spending half my lunchtime waiting for the food really kills it for me.
