Hillbrook Inn - Charles Town

When we tried to order appetizers, we were informed that two out of the three options were no longer available because the menu was being "switched" over. The wine list was very pricey, with an average of $250 per bottle. We decided to get the lamb chops, which was one of only five items on the menu. However, we found that the salad, lamb chops, and dessert were all lacking in flavor. To make matters worse, we waited 30 minutes to pay and then found out that their credit card machine was not working. Luckily, we had cash on hand. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing.

Great place to celebrate an anniversary. We stayed so were able to go up to bed after dinner and wake up to a delicious breakfast. THe benedict and the waffles were fantastic.

Very charming! The food server was on top of everything and knew the wines (we got the tasting menu). We were even greeted at the front gate by a group of friendly deer .

Amazing food, drinks and service. Probably one of the best valentines dinners I have ever had.
