Abolitionist Ale Works - Charles Town

We waited an hour for two pizzas but eventually had to cancel our order and leave. There were only two tables occupied, including ours. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Stopped in for beer and pizza after a day of kayaking. The visit to Abolitionist Ale Works was part of a prearranged package with River and Trail Outfitters. Service at Abolitionist was quick and the pizza was tasty. There was a nice selection of beers and other drinks. We had no problem on a Sunday afternoon getting a table for nine. We'll visit again.

My husband and I decided to celebrate his birthday at this restaurant. I have to admit that I'm not really a beer enthusiast like my husband, but Abolitionist has truly changed my perspective! The beers were of excellent quality and offered a variety of unique and robust flavors. We were thrilled to discover this hidden gem with such fantastic local brews! In addition to the outstanding beer selection, the pizza was delicious and complemented the drinks perfectly. The service was also exceptional, making this place a definite go-to for us, especially when we have friends visiting. It's a fantastic spot with great brews!

The restaurant had a clean ambiance, and the outdoor seating area provided a relaxing vibe. I appreciated the variety of beer options; the staff offered me a few samples before I made my choice, which was nice. The pizza was definitely unique, and I'm glad I decided to give it a try.

Nice place to visit and try a beer flight. Outside seating with plenty of room inside too. Tried a 'fig and pig pizza ' -sweet and sticky.
