Decent enough selection, and the quality is generally OK. However, they seem to make a point of hiring the most, at best, indifferent people to work there. Sometimes the indifference boarders on hostility. I 've finally decided to stop shoppingthere because dealing with those people is too aggravating. Tired of walking into the store in a good mood just to be treatedas an inconvenience to whatever it is the employees would rather be doing other than helping customers. And no, I 'm not a divawho expects the staff to fall all over themselves trying to fulfill my every whim. However, a simple Hello, how may I help youtoday? seems to be beyond them.

Lousy experience at the butcher shoppe. The cashier was more worried about the lady who had a handle break on her bag then ringing me up . Charged me for an item twice. Reading comments there prepared foods have gotton lousy. Got rice pudding wasrunny no taste . Got some cheese broccoli ???? soup the broccoli was still raw not cooked???? . Also got tuna helper . The peasweren't cooked and had no taste or little to no tuna. After spending 50 dollars what a waste .I like to shop local family ownedbut very disappointed ????

My family has been going to the Butcher Shoppe since it opened. The food THEN was high quality and delicious. Everything they sold in 80s- until just a few years ago was amazing. In the past three or four years the quality of the ingredients and foodhave steadily gone downhill. We recently bought potatoe salad that has turned extremely rancid. When I attempted to nicelydiscuss this with Customer Service, in hopes of preventing this from occurring to another customer, the unprofessional femalestaff member was very confrontational and rude. Buy at your own risk given the high price you will be paying for something thatmay have turned rancid or contains poor quality ingredients such as the now watered down broth used for the Ham and Bean soup.
