We ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad. I’m not sure if it’s particularly difficult to make pizza in northern NM, but the sauce and cheese were quite bland. As for the Caesar salad, it was meant for takeout, but they left the romaine spears whole, which felt like a lazy preparation. Additionally, they didn’t provide a plastic knife for the takeout order. I would recommend exploring other dining options in Chama.

We visit Chama once a year, and we always enjoy dining at Local. The pizza is fantastic, and we love the outdoor seating. The outdoor area is just beautiful. They were quite busy, probably because they were the only restaurant open in Chama that evening, but they handled it really well. The staff here is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back. We had a great time chatting with some wonderful people at one of the outdoor tables, making for a lovely evening. Meal type: Dinner.

This is a fantastic place in town! Just a heads up, it's a counter service restaurant. We really enjoyed the pizza, and the service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance on the outdoor deck was lovely as well. If you've been put off by previous negative reviews about the service, don't worry—there's new management now, so it’s worth a visit!
