Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe have decided to eat from bard to lunch due to the local mess (many nice products and hordes of people) we have found this place thanks to this website; is about 15 minutes away from the mountains. at the roundabout of verrès, take the road. val d’Ayas, after some hairpin turns in the neighbourhood of Villa-Nabian starting too slowly, after the right side parking place, take the small left side uphill road (there is a small restaurant signs) further on this narrowed road and will see a children's playground on the right side with parking. beautifully restored scheune as alpenchalet, small and warmer, family service (occupied by a family: mother, father and daughter) very informative. homemade local dishes are served; we decided to have their appetizer, starter, dessert and coffee menu of 23,00 euro (drinks are separated,) there are other possibilities for whatever you want. as appetizer, came some cut capicola sink with juniper with nuts and honey; cut brot with walnuts, honey and dried lard; cotechino (cooked sausage,) blood sausage and boiled lard with boiled kartoffels; as net we ordered some valdostana crêpes (savory stuffed crêpes with cooked ham and cheese) and cheese. as desserts we had a Cogne cream (chocolate cream with biscuits) and a tiramisu (coffee flavored layer) very sweet both. to the end they served free alcoholic digestion dishes (serve-it-yourself), presented with local fruits and crumbling in a bucket. beautiful restaurant with local furnishings; lower side: only cash, no credit cards; easy for older and disabled people because of the lift.
