The staff was helpful and friendly when I approached them with my nutritional requirements. I am vegetarian and they had vegetarian options for the carvery. I chose the cheesecake, but I think there was also a nut roast option (I think it is what it was, they don't quote me on that) as well as always, the cheesecake was delicious! They also have vegetarian friendly engraving when they ask. the sweet was cooked to my standard of perfection. the yorkshire puddings were phenomenal and the bratkartoffeln and petersnips were nicely soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I'll be back for a carousel.

The staff here deserve a medal. It was so busy this evening and every single one of them was still in high spirits. I don't actually know how they did it! The food was really nice and the tables were all clean and tidy. Overall a fantastic experience. About 2 years ago I left a 3* review here but things have definitely improved a great deal

Booked a meal for a birthday party , the staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us , thanks to Gavin and Claire. The food came out together and everyone enjoyed their carvery … Will definitely be returning !! Thank you for making it a lovely birthday for my friend xx

We went in to the Boat and Horses without a booking and despite being very busy and having 2 coach loads of people and a full pub the staff went out of their way to get us sat down and served within minutes. All the staff were really helpful and cheery. The carvery meat was tasty with a good selection of veggies and different potatoes.

A new favorite! The location is great and the food is delicious. Being a new establishment, the interior is clean, which makes for a good impression. The pub and restaurant next door add a lively atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a Costco nearby.
