The Hollar - CERRILLOS

We dictated outside where you order and pay at the counter and your food is brought to the table. There's indoor food, but I didn't go in there. The outside area is next to the main road, but the day I visited was not busy, so it wasn't loud. The food was good, with probably the best side order of fruit we received at any price throughout the USA. Red grapes, blueberries, strawberries and several slices of orange, all beautifully fresh. A good place for casual food while the world looks past.

A funky place with fun staff and delicious farewell in this really unique small town. Looks a bit jammed and was empty when we arrived, but I just loved the vibe. we started with fried okra and then I had fried green tomatoes with grits and chili sauce and my companion had green tomatoes caprese. both dishes were amazing. Place is very dog friendly, even has a dog menu. The local dogs also know it, they came by and hang out:

This was a perfect stop for a drink and to relax after exploring quirky Madrid. My old fashion was just like our buffalo castles. We could enjoy live music from the Shaft Mine over the street without being too loud for our granddaughter. It is also super pup friendly!

What a pleasure to come to such a well-visited tourist site as these and have all staff as very friendly. Your own house made lemonade is wonderful. The outdoor terrace is spacious and well shaded in summer. The employees know and love their Ahi Tuna starter. It was pretty delicious. Fresh and colorful. I highly recommend this court.
