Four of us recently enjoyed an excellent lunch after coming upon this hidden gem after our viewing of the eagles in Sheffield Mills. The soup, sandwiches and baked goods were delicious! We had a delightful conversation with the owner who shared her journey to opening the restaurant. A true success story!
Four of us were in Hall’s Harbour for the day watching the amazing tides. It was a dreary day, and with the Lobster Pound closed, so we drove to find lunch. We happened upon this place. Delightful owner- friendly and just the right amount of sass. We had sandwiches, salads and soups. All delicious! Fresh and plentiful. Took baked goods to enjoy in the car. Not cheap, but a fair price for sure. Would definitely return.
I just popped in to check it out.. bought some great cookies to take home.. lots of peanuts in them. Spoke to a gentleman who was leaving, he said the soup was delicious.Staff and owner very friendly. It looks small, but feels very comfortable and welcoming. Well worth the drive, I will be back.
Not kid friendly, no menu, no pricing. It was our fault for not asking pricing in the first place, but tried charging $20 for a sandwich. When I balked at that, lowered it to $15. $15 for a gristly, fatty bbq sauce soaked sandwich and $15 for a cheese sandwich. The potato salad was plain. Costco potato salad is miles better and a fraction of the price. Waste of time and money. Do yourself a favour and keep driving. If there are any good reviews of the place it's not for the food. You can't charge a premium for mediocre food in a mediocre location.
