Maitree Cafe Cí Sù Xuān

The first time here, but I am impressed by the quality and taste of the food. very affordable price too. it was recommended to have the double-release and it was not disappointed. the wooden sieve has the right taste and good texture. but I was woven by the thundering. very rich and pronounced taste. the best thunderstorm I've ever eaten. the sucking pig was also good, better than what I had in bigger restaurant like miao yi.

The caffe is located in the building of cheng beng buddhist society . I thought first I had to pull out my shoes as all were away in the building, but actually they do not have to do this in the caffe. most menus are in Chinese, so we had to ask someone who could speak English to translate. Vegan options are not marked, so they need to ask. it is a vegetarian menu. the menu also changes daily. Tasteful eating. it was very crowded when we left, so they go early when they want a table to lunch.

Located below a Chinese Temple. Sometimes they have special dishes. The people that are clearing the tables are volunteers, so please spare a thought for them and help clear your meals after you’re done.

A surprise. Didn't know the food here is so delish. Rare find ShuangLiao JiFan 5), flavorful vegetarian chicken rice with special vegetarian Char Siew. Corn in the clear soup. This place is a hidden find. Normally off on Tue. Updated from previous review on 2019-09-06

This is a very cheap little restaurant. I cams looking for a cafe but it's more like cafeteria seating. They have good pau and I nice selection of drinks. I'll have to come back and give the laksa a go.
