Despite being a little oily for my taste, I enjoyed the chewy texture of the Chole Bhature. The waiters, although not very attentive, were clearly putting in a lot of effort.
There are many Indian restaurants to choose from, but this one stands out for its clean ambiance and high-quality vegetarian food. Located in front of the Mustafa Center, this Indian restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes such as paneer tikka, Schezwan rice bowl, Punjabi dishes, and buttermilk. Though a bit pricey, the average cost for dinner for four people is 40-50 SGD. KP, the owner, is doing a fantastic job catering to vegetarian customers like myself. The restaurant is a heaven for Indians living in Singapore, with clean surroundings and courteous staff. Portions are generous and can easily feed two people. Conveniently located on the main road, the restaurant is easily accessible through the local MRT transport system. Thumbs up for this fantastic dining experience!
This Kailash Parbat restaurant in Little India is the superior of the two. They serve generous portions of chaats, particularly the papdi chaat which we enjoyed on two separate visits. The combination of sweetness, spiciness, freshness, and juiciness of the papdi was delightful. They also accommodate requests for extra spices. The Chole Bhature, however, was just average in terms of taste. Located across from Mustafa, this restaurant is a decent spot to grab a meal after a shopping excursion at the famous department store.
Very nice place for Indian food and chaats. Can try out the chaat platter. Food is well cooked and sumptuous.
Nice chaats. Very tasty and yummy. Maybe I ate a little too much that my tummy got upset the next day! BTW the falooda was disappointing. I was expecting it in the typical long cup but rather it was served in the ice cream bowl.
