Pierside Pub & Grill - Central Elgin

The Pierside is well known in the area for their perch dinners at a reasonable cost. Great location with the option of eating on the patio or inside the restaurant.

Walking by and heard a band playing outside .stopped in for a cocktail at the outside bar band was good and so was the prices

The food was good and restaurant had a nice atmosphere

Great spot to listen to good live music and have a reasonably priced drink. I believe they serve pub fare, but we did not eat here.

Typical beach bar. Earlier reviews talked about wonderful food. Must be with old owners. Current menu is pretty well deepfried - chicken nuggets, cheese sticks, fries, etc. They are not really in the food business.We had planned to eat supper as well but just had one appetizer.Visited Sunday late afternoon for live music. Music was good (but very loud). Place certainly popular with regulars. Unfortunately - service was affected.
