Retro Deli Tavern - Central City

If you don't mind the employees touching your food with their bare hands while preparing, then not a bad deli. These things don't bother me, so I enjoyed a decent Gyro at a fair price. Being in the food service industry you do notice when food service gloves are not the norm. Like I said though, the food itself is not bad. Side note. It's not a tavern. It's downstairs just outside the restaurant at Century casino. The bar is on the casino floor.

Absolutely incredible! All the food is fast, hot, and fun to the taste buds. They have the best ice cream in town!

Not as much a review as a shout out. I usually like to visit a few times before writing a review. I came down here after my first Opera (see other review)and after loosing bucks to the one armed bandits upstairs. I wasn't sure what to expect, but man did the Turkey Jack Avocado sandwich with tots make me forget all about those machines and Opera house manager. This sandwich tasted fresh and was warmed to perfection in the sandwich oven. The tots were hot and it was a good sized portion. I want to tip my hat to Wes as I already tipped his jar for the amazing sandwich and service! Whether it's your lucky day or not, you will love the winner they serve here. Remember, if you think you might have a problem with gambling please take a break here.

I walked up to the deli counter 5-6 minutes before closing time and was immediately greeted by Eddie who patiently waited for me to decide what I would order. After answering a few menu related questions I decided on a pepperoni pizza. He gladly started working on my order. I have to admit, I felt kind of bad placing an order for a pizza right before closing time but Eddie's professionalism from start to end was amazing; not to mention the pizza was delicious and I'm glad I ordered it! I was at the deli earlier to buy a beverage and the young gentleman who was working the morning shift also had a positive, outgoing attitude with his customers. to these two for their outstanding customer service, thank you. Posted hours of operation should be corrected on this app. Raider fans Rock!

I'm sorry to say but this Deli is buried inside of a casino and it's one of the strangest places we've been to. We were looking to get lunch and ice cream yesterday while they're and the employee who was mail was on the floor busy cleaning out the freezer, and didn't want to get up or help anybody. We were there for over 5 minutes standing there waiting for him and he knew we were there. Sometimes when things seem strange they typically are and it's best to walk away and find something different and he's the one that was one of those cases. As we were leaving another person wanted to get service and order something from the deli and the guy started yelling at the person working there to get to work and to help!! From my experience I figured the food is way overpriced and very low quality.
