Zio Johno's North Liberty

We had made reservations prior to our visit. A party of 13. Probably due to our 11am reservation and the very cold temps....only one cook and one waiter to man the store. Understanding all this, the meal was okay and the service was great. Waiter kept apologising about being able to bring out only two meals at a time.

I have always been a fan of this place. Started going to the Iowa City location back in 2001 I was so happy when they branched out to North Liberty. Overall, good stuff! We love ordering stuff to-go. Not thrilled that they just changed their prices now charge for garlic bread but we'll still eat there.

I just ate at the north liberty location. (780 Community Dr) I waited over an HOUR for my food! I got the spaghetti dinner and the baked lasagna with both chicken noodle soup. It took about 25 minutes to get the chicken noodle soup. The rest was waiting for my dinner. They were having people that were ordering from the front leaving right away while we sat and waited for our food. I will never take my business back here. It’s sad that I just paid $23.81 for a dinner that I didn’t even enjoy! I will stick to the Iowa city location

Ordered chicken tenders and when it was delivered the chicken was completely RAW... this was off of the kids menu for my toddler.. luckily I went to cut the chicken into pieces and was able to see that it wasn’t cooked. I’ve never seen anything like it before from any other restaurant..

Not very happy with my experience, food was not that good for the price. Appetizers was the best part. Very understaffed no bar tender so couldn't order a drink, the waitress said she could try to make me a drink, but decided best not try my luck. 1 waitress with 4 tables none of the other staff came to help or check on tables. The 1 table that was there when I got there, when they left no one came to pick up the dishes so they just sat on the table. A family of 4 came in waited to be seated for almost 10 minutes...... took me 15 minutes to get a box to take home leftovers the bill. Waited awhile to pay very unhappy will not return or recommend.
