The Full Bowl - Cedar Rapids

Popped in to grab a quick lunch (it's in the market building) and wasn't drained!

A few choices that will fit most any diet. So much flavor in dish. Seems expensive for the crowd but remember you are paying the equivalent cost of food.

We have the NoCoast bowl and the red beans and rice. Added the vegan sausage to the red beans and everyone got a cornbread muffin. Everything was great! Flavorful and filling.

This place is INSIDE Newbo Market if anyone gets lost. I got a small no coast bowl with a side of vegan cornbread and vegan sausage for $9.50 The seitan sausage wasn't bad at all I just chopped it up and put it in my bowl. The cornbread tasted like cornbread. A tad bit dry but had corn kernals in it! The actual bowl was pretty good, I enjoyed it, had fun flavor combinations and cashew cream. They have two other bowl options that are more curry inspired. The only thing is price vs how much food I get. I could get a vegan burrito bowl from Chipotle for the same price and have food left over when I was done eating.

I've tried a number of bowls at the Full Bowl, and they're consistently delicious. The chana masala has a nice amount of heat. All of the food feels healthy without being boring. I've tried the baked goods on a few occasions too including a cookie corn bread. They were both terrific. Updated from previous review on 2019-03-11
