Papa John's Pizza - Cedar Rapids

I ordered from this restaurant yesterday, September 18th, for my children and myself. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Every single thing we ordered was incorrect, and it took over an hour for our order to be prepared. The pizza crust was not as described, and the jalapeno poppers I ordered did not come with the ranch dressing I requested. The breadsticks we received were plain and did not come with any sauce. When I called to check on my order after waiting for 35 minutes, the staff seemed unprepared and confused.

I have no idea why this location has a lower rating than marion and sw side because they are disgusting! I traveled to this, although I am closer to one of the others, because this is delicious and coworkers there is great!

I had some difficulties with the Papa John's at the midpoint, but overall, when they offer their daily lunch specials, it's not too bad.

I ordered the pepperoni stuffed crust pizza and got it for takeout.Upon arriving home I discovered that the pizza was undercooked and caked in grease. I believe the amount of grease played a big part on why the pizza was undercooked.I brought the pizza back to the store and the staff understood and apologized for this profusely. They made me a new pizza without hesitation and the second pizza was delicious.They made things right and I don't think it was their fault as the added grease from all the pepperoni was a factor in the first pizza being undercooked.Overall, the staff turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. Thank you!

I ordered delivery, but I missed the delivery guy's arrival. They attempted to call me once, but since it was a California phone number, I thought it was spam. Instead of leaving my pizza at the door, they took it back and canceled my order. When I contacted the store manager to discuss the situation, he insisted that they had called me multiple times, which is untrue. I'm not sure why they didn't just leave it at the door; I assume they threw it away. I am disappointed, unimpressed, and most importantly, hungry!
