Mcdonald's - Cedar Rapids

My first job right out of high school was at McDonald's. Working with the public can be challenging, and we didn’t have computers when I was there, so mistakes in orders were common. I don’t often visit the McDonald's on Williams Blvd, but today I had guests who insisted on going there. When I was at the drive-thru, I had to point out and repeat four times that I was missing a large French fry before the employee finally acknowledged it. When I got home, I was confused to find a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in the bag, but when I opened the box, there was no burger inside. How does that happen? I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

The service was slow and disappointing, with little effort made to resolve issues. The overall experience declined rapidly!

I downloaded the app and started placing my orders. The food is always hot and fresh, whether I order from home or dine in. It's quick and easy, and I love being able to customize my order. The staff is always friendly when they bring out my food. This has truly transformed my experience with McDonald's. Thank you for raising the bar!

I went through the drive thru and got a 2, a shake and a huh nugget child meal. I have not given my apple slices or apple juice with my child's meal, I have not been given my acknowledgement, or any serviettes. I tried to call the load over a period of two hours a handful of paint and no one answered. the line tries to go to voicemail that is not set up for realignment. extremely frustrating that my money is taken, and I don't get what I pay.

This location was very busy as expected around dinner time. The 2 lanes moved quickly and the young man at the window was very nice. Our food was hot, fresh, and delicious.
