1st Avenue Draught House - Cedar Rapids

Absolutely amazing! The food is delicious, and the staff is fantastic. The atmosphere is so much fun. They've also added a pool table and dart boards. You definitely need to check it out!

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food has been outstanding both times we've visited. Their Bacon Truffle Mac is fantastic, and you can enjoy it as either an entrée or an appetizer. It's so rich and filling that I usually just order the appetizer size along with a bowl of soup, and that’s more than enough to satisfy me. We've tried the French Onion soup, which was delicious, and my boyfriend had the French dip sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed. It’s an elegant little spot to dine without a hefty price tag.

We chose this restaurant because we had a Groupon. The Reuben sandwich was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. The hamburger on Texas toast was a bit too buttery for my taste, but I should have expected that since I ordered the Texas toast. The beer was enjoyable, and our server offered great recommendations and allowed us to sample a few options we hadn't tried yet. It was quite empty at 4 PM on a Saturday, but we would definitely come back again.
