I would give this restaurant 5 stars if possible, they were very accommodating and attentive. They were able to make the vegetable piccata dish vegan and gluten-free for me, just by ordering it without parmesan and with gluten-free noodles. During my next visit, I tried the Roasted Stuffed Delicata Squash without cheese and it was delicious. They offer unique and tasty options on their menu. (Review updated on 2021-08-13)

After several years here on holiday Murdock had still received an excellent atmosphere and wonderful meals. It is preferred that you call beforehand to make a reservation no matter what the party size or even if it is an hour before.

We were disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. Despite making a reservation for 5:00, we were seated on the veranda at a sunny table. We asked if we could move to a shaded table or another location, but were told the table was reserved. They attempted to provide some shade by moving our table slightly, but it did not block the sun effectively. The meal was good, but we felt uncomfortable due to the heat, with one of us sweating a lot. We noticed that the reserved table remained empty for the duration of our meal, which cost over $118 for 4 people. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.

AMAZING all around experience. Murdock's demonstrated that they've thought about every detail. The experience began with a super friendly hostess that took our reservation and sat us. Beer, wine and cocktail selections were on point. Then the food! Every item we had, including dessert, was delicious. It was quite possibly the tastiest restaurant meal we've had in years. We will definitely be back.
