Taken along the river, boats sail past, and people really enjoy it, make it a standout. The seafood bisque is amazing and a meal for yourself... do not leave the fact that it is on the appetizer page of the menu you fool.
My family reserved Creekside for a celebration of my grandmother's life after her funeral a few months ago. It was a nice restaurant and the waitresses were so friendly. Great shrine to the bartender who has repeatedly made Sherley temples for the children! The food was also absolutely delicious. We want to come back next year for a family meeting! Thanks Creekside!
Hidden gem in the Catskills. If it's your first time, the back side and parking lot look discouraging unattractive. No worries though you're at the right spot. The entrance is facing the marina. You'll quickly notice tables, chairs, umbrellas and yachts. Super friendly service by Sierra/Ciara ? . We got the General Tso's Cauliflower YUM! , Calamari not crispy enough, and it sits on the marinara sauce?? ? , Harvest Salad is super delicious and fresh!, and apparently the Garlicky was really good! Overall we'll definitely go back and try other menu items!
Pros: outside eating area overlooking a marina, reasonable prices, server was attentive, seafood bisque was outstanding (lots of seafood, nice consistency), calamari (served with balsamic glaze, banana peppers), clams app, prime rib dip (generous portion, tender), TJs shrimp scallops (esp. the to scallops) Cons: calamari a bit on the spicy side, prime rib a bit on the bland side I would definitely go back, esp. for the seafood bisque!
My gin and tonic was served in a brandy snifter...which was...different. smile. My friend, a CIA trained chef, and I ordered the calamari and shrimp cocktail. The calamari was good, but the shrimp was poorly peeled and tasted a little fishy . Our entrees were steak and a seafood platter. Steak was great, but the mashed potatoes were very soupy . Seafood platter had fried shrimp, haddock and scallops. The scallops were outstanding. The shrimp good, but the haddock was soggy. Lemon Mascarpone cake was outstanding. Could have been a bad day for the kitchen. All in all, the cost was higher than expected for an okay experience. Might go back...maybe.
