Cabosse Feve Chocolates - CASTLEMAINE

Cabins Feve are a small operation that makes exceptionally good chocolate. Many of their products are marked as vegan (all dark chocolate base). One or two can also be vegan, but somehow not characterized by the ingredients list in the past I asked the owner and they checked.

Purchased one of the gift boxes as a treat my friends could share with their family on Christmas day. While shopping I noted that there are a number of chocolates marked as vegan so next time I was at Cabosse Feve it was all about me! Purchased 4 different vegan chocolates as treats to slowly work my way through. Have to admit chocolate and orange was my first choice so I have started on the Orangettes. Little slivers of sweet, jellied orange filling coated in dark and intense chocolate. The jelly made me double check to make sure it was vegan but certainly is labelled as such. It's taken a couple of weeks as an occasional treat to empty the packet, now I'm a little sad. No matter, still have 3 other chocolate bars to trial and I'm still in town and intend to stock up before leaving Castlemaine. I would add that it's worth the effort to find this sweet treats factory.

The jelly has checked me twice to make sure it was vegan, but certainly is marked as such. It takes a few weeks as an occasional treat to empty the package, now I'm a little sad. No matter testing another 3 other chocolate bars, and I'm still in town and intending to be in stock in front of Castlemaine. I would add that it is worth the effort to find this sweet treat factory.
