Conad - CASTIGLION FIORENTINO

We have just finished a two week stay in Arezzo and visit this supermarcato everyday to purchase fresh food and wine and beer. Very comprehensive food selection and the wine section is a wine lovers paradise. The service is also very good with the guys on the checkout great.

This is a great place for your day to day grocery shopping. Everything from fresh pate to bottled water and wines and all at supermarket prices. Don’t expect them to speak anything except Italian but then you are in their country so why should they .. Open 7 days a week and well stocked shelves

We were staying in Castiglion Fiorentino for several weeks and this became our regular store. The wine selection alone was amazing. But the produce department always had fresh and lovely items as did the prepared food section. The coffee bar was good in the morning for breakfast items and we really enjoyed having freshly squeezed orange juice. Even though we don’t speak Italian, the employees there were always helpful and friendly. Thank goodness for Google Translate!

In my opinion, this supermarket is at a higher level than average. you find everything, at valid prices, and the staff is courteous and professional.
